God Save the Queen! Sex Pistols X Etat Libre d’Orange

Sex Pistols, the Brit rock group formed in 1975 that started the punk movement in the music industry, has worked with French alternative perfume company, Etat Libre d’Orange, to come up with an Eau de Parfum named after the band.

The first whiff you get will be light kinda citrusy note with a bit of amber and fruity nuances.  Heliotrope, Patchouli and Leather notes surface up towards the base notes.

Some of the notes present in it are Citrus, Black Pepper, Amber, Prune Jungle Essence, Electric Aldehydes, Heliotrope, Patchouli and Leather.

Sex Pistols the fragrance is now available at Oblique at Hide & Seek.

Mona di Orio 19-07-1969 – 09-12-2011

A few days ago, I was shocked to receive news of the departure of the great perfumer Mona di Orio due to surgery complications.

Her wonderful collection of perfumes has been available in my store, Oblique, just a few months ago.  It is such a pity for someone with such great talent to leave this world at such a young age of 42.

May she rest in peace and the Mona di Orio legacy shall live on…

I recently discovered a amazing new product that’s just a small bottle of 10ml but works wonders! 

Clearify, as the name suggests, helps clear your skin of blemishes and sebum.  Well not 100% but it does minimise.  There’s no product that can clear your skin of problems 100% anyway.

Its a light liquid made mainly of plant extracts which helps control sebum secretion, slows formation of white and black heads, treats pimple infections and helps diminish post acne spots.
