Coco Chanel loved pearls for their simplicity, refined charm and their ability to illuminate the face. Pearls come in several tones from almost white to mysteriously dark. And they are nature’s gift to mankind for enhancing our beauty. So for Spring 2011, Peter Philips has created a collection using the beautiful iridescence of pearls to enhance let you radiate!
And this time a new item is introduced. Ombres Perlées de Chanel. In the classic Chanel black case containing five iridescent shades of eye shadow that feels cream-gel like to the touch and blends smoothly but produces the result of a silky eye shadow. I like that it doesn’t flake off from the brush to mess up you face. You’ll see what I mean when you try it for yourselves.

Trust Peter Philips to come up with this. For Chanel‘s Spring 2010 show, he decorated the models’ limbs with temporary “tattoos”. These tattoos come in designs of Chanel’s signature leather interlaced chains and strings of pearls. As well as the famous double C logo amongst others.
Hong Kong singer Kelly Chen had her left thigh decorated with them in her new music video too!
Use your imagination and make bracelets, necklaces or garters out of them.
At SGD105 for a pack of 5 sheets, they’ll be available in March 2010 exclusively at Chanel counters in Metro Paragon and Takashimaya Department Stores and the boutique at Ngee Ann City.
