stay put eye and lip colours by MAC

2010 July 24, Saturday

I really like these products from MAC!  They are smudge and water-resistant and are definitely very useful for our humid climate here.

Greasepaint Stick initially launched a few collections back as a limited item with the DSquared2 collection has come back with more variety for its fans now!  In a crayon-like texture, it can be simply using finger tips or a brush and when it dries, it will stay put all day.

Another great product is the Longwear Lipstain Marker which is really like a marker with a felt tip for you to stains your lips and just apply any gloss of choice over it or just leave it for a naturally stained look.  I think it’s great for ladies who want to their lip colour to last through their meals at dinner events.  Take the bride at her own wedding for instance.  She’ll have no chance to touch up in between toasts with so many guests.  Plus her lip colour wouldn’t be transferred to her groom’s lips when they kiss.  😉

Liberate me!!!

2010 May 13, Thursday

You’d have seen at MAC by now these lovely limited editions for the season.

Give Me Liberty is cheerful with pretty packaging that will make you wanna have the whole collection. They remind me of hippie chicks in the great outdoor nature with birds and flora.

I especially like the Beauty Powders as they are great for adding a soft nuance of colour all over the face to brighten up a face without being too obvious.  Perfect for makeup freshies and pros alike.

MAC Spring 2010

2010 March 4, Thursday

MAC launches Spring 2010 with a collection sorted out in four sub-collections in shades of pink, coral, purple and gold tones.

Two scents are also introduced in this collection.  Pinkaura, a floral scent with green top notes that moves into whiffs of freesia, black violet and magnolia and ends off with a warm amber and vetiver notes.  And MV2, a warm scent of mainly vanilla notes throughout with dashes of lemon, lavender and heliotrope.
