i hate eyelash extensions

My friends and clients all know that I hate permanent lash extensions. Especially those that are so dense and long they remind me of sun visors. Sometimes they even make eyes look sleepy ala Garfield. Just making eyes look darker and looking like they’re shading the eyes from the sun but not doing anything to make eyes look brighter and prettier.
When I makeup my subjects, I’d use false lashes to make eyes pop if I have to and I’ll pick the type that suits them and the look I’m creating. But when the look doesn’t call for falsies, I’ll need a good mascara. One that volumizes, lengthens and keeps curl well.
We all know that there are many good ones out there. Well, lemme introduce the latest good one that has just been launched recently. What is the best and most effective method would you recommend when applying this Maybelline Falsies Volum’ Express mascara on lower eye lashes?

If your lashes are long enough, you can use the outer curve of the brush to carefully brush on the mascara downwards.
But if your lashes are on the shorter side, then just use the tip of the brush and brush horizontally across all of the lower lashes and use a clean brush or lash comb to neaten them after mascara.
